ETRdotTV ThunderWAN is excited to be sponsoring and operating this brand new initiative for Toronto Island Marina seasonal boaters.

Feedback from boaters and marina management points to a desire to improve and organize the parking of boater bicycles and eBikes.

To that end, we will conduct a free bicycle and eBike registration event at the marina on Saturday September 21st 2024 from 11am to 3pm. The event will take place on the pavement near and just west of the tender docks.

You will be able to bring your bike(s) to the registration event and we will take pictures of your bike, and will affix a discrete identification tag onto it.

Benefits of registering include potentially helping authorities recover your property if it is stolen. It will also mean that marina management can more easily identify which bike is owned by which person, thus facilitating the orderly clean-up of abandoned bikes.

Your information will be held in a private and secure online database that is operated by ETRdotTV. You know and trust ETRdotTV already as your supplier of ETRdotTV ThunderWAN dockside Internet. You will receive a PDF report after you register your bike(s). Even if you lose that report, all of your bike ownership info can be quickly retrieved, including photographs.

Please consider registering your bicycle or eBike in this voluntary and free program. If the program is proven successful, you can look forward to future benefits like assigned parking, and electronic geolocation tracking with alarms sent to your email if a bike leaves the marina without your authorization – a great way to potentially recover stolen bikes!
